Ein Kritikpunkt an der Website des Hotels: Hier kann man sich den Preis in verschiedenen Währungen anzeigen lassen, jedoch zu einem günstigeren Wechselkurs. Das führt zu einer Fehleinschätzung des Preises und die Überraschung kommt mit der Kreditkartenabrechnung. Wozu dieser Service überhaupt?

The friendliness of the staff was exceptional. I liked the fresh fruit and good bread available at breakfast and the lovely garden in which to enjoy it. The unusual decor makes this an very special place to stay. Comfortable lounge with interesting art/photography books to look at.

Très chouette hotel avec une qualité d'accueil et de service nettement au-dessus de la moyenne. Je recommanderais l'hotel et y retournerais certainement moi aussi.

i enjoyed my stay at the betrams hotel guldsmeden very much. the rooms have character and are kept in a tasteful, understated but comfortable style, the staff (especially the duty manager himself) are friendly, welcoming, helpful and uncomplicated. if you can, get a room with a balcony: it will add to the quality of your time there immensely. i was fortunate in being able to take advantage of a really quite excellent last minute deal. at full rate i think the value for money ratio slips a bit towards the expensive side, but my own experience is wholly positive. also, although the hotel is just off-centre, its location is in fact fairly convenient and getting to and from it to anywhere that matters in copenhagen is a breeze. (i walked more or less everywhere, though the anglo-saxon in me still finds being accosted by working women several times on the way back late at night takes a bit of getting used to and does not give me a thrill i could not happily do without...) overall: highly recommended.

We payed the evening before because we knew we'd be in a hurry the moring of our checkout. When leaving, we were halted and detained under accusations of trying to duck the bill, because the hotel had misplaced the payment. This nearly cost us our flight. Fix the payment system so stuff like that cannot happen, or find another business where you're not harming people.

Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl in diesem ausgesprochen freundlich geführten Hotel gefühlt, die Zimmer sind hell und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, einzig das Bad mit Badewanne war nicht ganz praktisch, da ohne Duschabtrennung/-vorhang. Es gibt aber Zimmer mit Dusche

A lunch or occasional dinner service would be excellent, however the hotel is perfect as it is.
